5.11.26 – 2026 Texas Primary Run-Off Elections: Get Out the Filipino Vote

LEAD Filipino is proud to officially launch its Get Out the Filipino Vote (GOTFV) efforts ahead of the May 2026 Primary Runoff Elections in Texas!

Across our chapters, organizers and volunteers will be leading a series of voter engagement initiatives focused on increasing civic participation within Filipino and broader AAPI communities. These efforts include the release of voter guides, community outreach and tabling events, voter education campaigns, and phone banking programs designed to ensure community members have the information and resources needed to participate in the upcoming elections.

As part of this initiative, LEAD Filipino Texas will be contacting AAPI voters in Bexar County through phone banking efforts to help voters understand important election dates, polling information, and what is on the ballot ahead of Election Day.

In addition to phone banking, LEAD Filipino will continue tabling at community events and distributing voter resources throughout the election season to meet voters where they are and help expand access to nonpartisan civic information.

The launch of these GOTFV efforts reflects LEAD Filipino’s continued commitment to building civic power within Filipino American communities and ensuring AAPI voters are informed, engaged, and represented in the democratic process.
