Like many of our community partners, and frankly, the entire globe, we’ve made major shifts in our 2020 programming and activities to prioritize everyone’s health during this novel coronavirus pandemic.
In lieu of postponing our 2020 Annual Fly Pinays Leadership Summit to later this fall, our Fly Pinays Organizing Committee will be focused on producing a three-part Puso to Puso Talks series in the months leading up to our Leadership Summit.
Puso, which translates to “Heart” in Filipino, and our moniker “Puso to Puso” uplifts a community exchange between women and young women in our Fly Pinays network of nearly 200 members. The name “Puso to Puso” was developed by three of our student leaders: Camille Valerio, Chloe Agdipa, and Michelle Dionisio.
Although we hosted our first Puso to Puso back on March 14th, stay tuned for our next episodes, which will be produced for later this spring and summer, addressing issues related to preserving Fil Ethnic and Cultural Identity and Personal and Professional Development.
