7.24.25 – July 2025 Policy Priority Update

The California Legislature is currently on Summer Recess, which means no votes or hearings until they return on August 18th. In the meantime, LEAD Filipino continues to work on our legislative priorities.

Several of our priority bills have now advanced to the Senate Appropriations Committee, where legislators will review each bill’s fiscal impact before deciding on whether they advance to a Senate floor vote.

We are keeping a close eye on these bills and will continue to keep you posted through the process!
