About the FANHS Conference
En[compass]ing Our Journeys, the mission of the Filipino American National Historical Society (FANHS) National Conference 2024, is to illuminate the pathways that chronicle the intricate tapestry of Filipino American history and cultural contributions. Guided by the four pillars of Rooted, Watered, Woven, and Wisdom, our purpose is to deepen understanding, foster appreciation, and unite our community through the lens of our history.
En[compass]ing Our Journeys guides us toward a shared and inclusive future. In building from our past, we use existing historical and personal narratives to gravitate toward conversations that ask of us:

Who guides us on our journeys?

What is the Future of the Filipinx American history?
Through the exploration of diverse identities, shared narratives, and the potency of collaboration, we extend an invitation to individuals and organizations of all generations to converge. Our objective is to traverse cultural divides, commemorate the pivotal moments along our shared historical path, and cultivate connections that transcend temporal and geographic boundaries.
