Celebrating our 2023 Awareness in Action Cohort & 2022 Lola Scholarship Recipients
We had a blast celebrating both the 2022 Lola Scholarship Fund recipients and the completion of our 8th Annual Awareness in Action Program also known as our Filipino Studies & Civic Engagement Course.
We presented our cohort and scholarship recipients with certificates from Councilmember Davin Cohen’s Office and the Santa Clara County Board of Supervisors Cindy Chavez & Otto Lee Tin celebration of everyone’s pursuit for knowledge and/or cultural awareness.
Like any Filipino party, we brought out food, desserts, and great music! Lots of kwentohan and new connections built from just one day together.

Our Awareness in Action Program happens every summer for 10 weeks starting in late June and ending in early September with our Salamt at Paalam & Lola Scholarship celebration.
