Happy Black History Month!

During the month of February, we honor and celebrate both the past and present contributions of our Black community. With this year’s theme being ‘Black Health and Wellness’, we acknowledge the legacy of not only Black scholars and medical practitioners in Western medicine, but also other ways of knowing (e.g., birthworkers, doulas, midwives, naturopaths, herbalists, etc.) throughout the African Diaspora, including activities such as rituals and initiatives that Black communities have done to be well.
