Celebrating 10 Years with LEAD Filipino

We’re turning 10 and we want YOU to be there! 
Join us in celebrating our 10th Anniversary of building civic power, advancing health equity, and developing grassroots leaders across Silicon Valley — and our newest chapters in San Antonio and Las Vegas. We’re bringing it back to where it all began: San José State University.

FAQs

Are children allowed at this event? Is childcare offered during this event? 

Unfortunately, at this time, we cannot offer childcare or accommodate children at this event due to our limited seating capacity and packed program. 

What is the event dress code?

The attire for our Gala is formal. We also encourage attendees to wear their formal cultural attire or dress in formal attire. 

Will tickets be sold day-of? 

We will not be selling tickets on the day of our event. 

Will LEAD Filipino be accepting additional donations during the event?

Yes, there will be multiple opportunities to donate and support our organization during the event. 

Will there be professional photos and videos being taken? 
  • Yes, the Gala will have professional photographers and videographers present to document our event. Photos will be accessible to attendees within 2 weeks of our event.
  • We also welcome folks to share any photos or videos they take at our event to upload them to our Google Folder via the QR code at their tables or accessible throughout the event.
How can I volunteer?
  • Individuals can register to volunteer for our event by October 1 here. Volunteers will be asked to complete a mandatory orientation with our team.
Parking
  • Parking and way-finding details will be sent and posted as the event gets closer. 
Food & Beverage Notice
  • We will be serving a family-style food menu centered around Asian culture.
  • No peanuts or nuts will be used in the preparation of the food, however please notify our team of any food allergies in advance of the event or during the event.
  • There will be tea, water, and champagne served at the tables.
  • Beer, wine, and soda can be purchased during the event at our cash bar (which also accepts credit cards).
