“Our Sheroes, Our Story” with AKOmicron / April 11

On Tuesday, April 11 the Sisters of Filipina Sorority Alpha Kappa Omicron hosted L.E.A.D Organizers Angelica, Carina and Daniel in a workshop and dialogue around owning and preserving our community’s legacies in the American context.

In an hour and fifteen minutes, the Sisters discussed various ways that the youth and young leaders today can continue ensuring that the voices and victories of Filipin@s are equally a part of our shared American fabric.
