On Friday, February 17th, Filipinos @Facebook graciously hosted our Fly Pinays Mentor and Mentee Mixer to kick off the momentum for our Fly Pinays Leadership Summit next month. With 55+ Pinay professionals and their college level/new grad mentees coming from across the Bay Area, we spent an evening defining what it means to be a “Fly Pinay” and the value of mentors in our lives.
Joined by special guests, KTVU Channel 2 News Reporter Azenith Smith and AARS-HealthRight 360 Executive Razelle Buenavista, we involved our group in a discussion on seeking meaningful mentors, fueling your professional and personal motivations, and advancing Filipina success today.
Our attendees enjoyed group ice breaker activities, food and refreshments and a tour of Facebook HQ’s Campus, including the “What’s on your mind?” wall, the free arcade and visiting countless eateries!
