These 10 individuals have worked tirelessly to apply for a board and commission in their local city to increase the representation of Filipina/x/o Americans and build power within our communities.
Through our 4-week program, we dove into topics such as:
- An overview of Filipina/x/o American Civil Rights Leadership and History
- How to Organize for Change and Power
- The Differences & Similarities between Non-profit Bords, State, and Federal Commissions
- Local Government 101
