Raised by a proud Filipina immigrant mother and a Japanese American father, Cameron’s mission has been shaped by values of advocacy, resiliency, equity, and social justice. He transferred from a California Community College to UC Davis, where he graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science—Public Service. Cameron proudly represents the City of Pinole, where he was born and raised, and was elected in 2022 as the first Filipino American and youngest individual to hold the position. As a legislator, he works to advance the fight for equity and justice through progressive policy.
