Philippine American Policy Perspectives Survey

As the second largest and among one of the fastest growing Asian Pacific Islander American groups in the country, it is necessary that we regularly seek to understand the experiences of the 4.2 million Filipinos in the United States.

But you’ve heard these talking points before.

Part of this work is to learn perspectives and the factors that shape the attitudes and behaviors of our community across a broad range of social, cultural, political, and economic questions.

How important are current Philippines social and political happenings to you? Filipino, Filipina/x/o, Philippine American, Pilipinx – what do you most identify with? Do you speak or understand a language of the Philippines? If yes, which one(s)?

Our voluntary and [anonymous] survey “Philippine American Policy Perspectives” will be used to explore what factors influence our beliefs around topics of identity, education, immigration policy, social welfare, family dynamics, and cultural traditions.

In the coming months, we will share our findings with our online community.

We will accept survey responses till April 6.

If you would like to take our voluntary survey, please contact gabriel@leadfilipino.org.
