After a months-long process involving nearly 20 Fil advocates, leaders, and organizations from across the state of California, we’re delighted to share in the joint presentation of the 2020 Fil Statewide Policy Platform.
A huge thank you to Katherine Nasol, Dr. Robyn Rodriguez, and the entire team at the Bulosan Center for Filipino Studies for translating numerous experiences, stories, and strategies into our 2020 Policy Platform, that we so proudly share with our Steering Committee partners!
A product of the 2020 Fil Policy Symposium, held on February 1st, 2020 at CSU East Bay, this 2020 Fil Statewide Policy Platform was developed through conversations, discussions, and interactions of Fil students, families, educators, and community members from a variety of social service agencies, collegiate organizations, and advocacy groups.
Although we won’t be hosting our 2020 Fil Statewide Legislative Advocacy Day this year, we hope that you will consider remaining engaged in these ongoing efforts.
